以下的voltage數值的意思是?

Remember what I have told you before.
The voltage measured by the voltmeter in diagrams 1 and 2 are zero.
The voltage measured by the voltmeter in diagram 3 is the voltage across the resistor, which is also the same as the terminal volatge of the battery.
