The legal executive is usually a lawyer but working in a commercial sector. The duties are much wider and are usually require giving a legal advice to the management.
The company secretary could be a person with the professional degree or even without it. The duty of company secretary is to ensure the company do act in accordance with the requirement of the Companies Ordinance. To work as a legal executive, you usually have to get a professional degree as a lawyer. You can take the professional examination of getting a lawyer qualification. And, I think you could take up some courses in this area to see whether you are interested in becoming a lawyer.
And, taking an MBA course is very good for advancement to be a member of the management team of a company and future career development.
