If Mr.Chan's salary is increased by 10%,it would become $11000. What is his salary?

或者可以用一個更易明的方法,但麻煩些~Let x be the Mr.Chan's salary.
x(1+10%)=11000
x+10%x=11000
110x/100=11000
110x=1100000
x=10000
Mr. Chan's salary is $10000

=$10000
