1.t^3 + (t-1)^3
= [t + ( t-1)][t^2 - t(t-1) + (t-1)^2]
= (2t -1)[t^2 - t^2 + t + t^2 - 2t + 1]
= (2t -1)(t^2 - t + 1).
2.
(11s - r)(s - r) = [-(r -11s)][-(r -s)] = (r-11s)(r-s). So they are the same.
