No , if it was The Northwest Passage, or North by Northwest, or Northwest Airlines, it would. It tends to tun up as a proper name as one word, but note you have the option of north west, or north-west; even nor'west, all of which are correct. Whichever you choose you should be consistent.You can write 60 as sixty btw.
