I am thinking that hot flash may be what you are looking for. It means a sudden, temporary sensation of heat (usually experienced by some women during menopause or by eating fried foods).
So, I think that it has the meaning of 飲食上火
Fried foods cause an increase in hot flash activity for me.

"Flush-inducing" food sounds to me more like food that would cause flushing (diarrhea).
