欲知道 Council 與 Barrister 之分別, 是否一樣, 只是美式與英式之叫法不同? Thank you.

The legal system in England uses the term counsel as an approximate synonym for a barrister-at-law.
"Barrister" is a professional title and is used in a barrister's private, academic or professional capacity. "Counsel" is used to refer to a barrister who is instructed on a particular case.
