1)There are three 10000(Ohm) resistors connected in parallel,
what is the expected range of the total resistance for using 5% tolerance resistor?

2)Obtain the 1 and 2 complements of the given number 1011 0011 1011

2) 1 complement of 1011 0011 1011 is the inverted bit
i.e 0100 1100 0100
2 complement is the result of adding 1 to 1 complement
i.e 0100 1100 0100 +1
= 0100 1100 0101

i.e. the 3 pcs resistors can be range from 9500 to 10500,

For max. resistance, all of the resistors must be 10500.

therefore overall max. resistance is 1/[(1/10500)*3]= 3500(Ohm)

For min. resistamce, all of the resistors must be 9500.

therefore overall min. resistance is 1/[(1/9500)*3] = 3167(Ohm)

therefore expect range is 3167--3500(Ohm)
