機頂盒 - Recording

I use a newly bought 8 G USB flash drive ( Kingston) to record 香港寬頻機頂盒 - 標清 program
It works but find the following problem :-

1. When making an instant record, it stops after 20 min. & 7min ( test twice)
2. When set for 1hr 10 min. record time, it stops after 37 min & 13 min.
( test twice)
Total min. recorded on above were 77 min. & the space left was about 4 G

Questions :-

1. Is the problem happened to the 機頂盒 or the USB flash drive
2. How to solve the problem
3. Do I need to format the USB flash drive, if so, please advise by step

I have the same problem with the NOW top box although I did not have USB recording. The signal will automatically stop during sometime without an regaular pattern but always after the commercial break! At that time, I had to re-power on the top box!

So, I think it is the signal problem.
