Global warming :


The two reasons:

1. Hong Kong has too much traffic, causing more petrol needed to drive the cars.

2. Hong Kong is called ' The City that never sleeps ', because shops and billboards are all lit up even late at night, it wastes a lot of energy.

The three measures:

3. People should drive less private cars and use public transport instead.

4. People should change lightbulbs to energy-saving ones.

5. Shops should switch off the lights on their billboards when there is no need for it.

The two reasons:
1. Carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted from Cars.
2. After carbon emissions caused by humans, deforestation is the second principle cause of atmospheric carbon dioxide.

The three measures:

4.When replacing home appliances, use energy efficient models. For example, replacing an old refrigerator using 320 watts with a new one using 85 watts could make a big difference. When buying appliances, look for the EPA/Department of Energy’s new Energy Star label.
5. When shopping for groceries, bring your own cloth bag to the market. Not using paper grocery bags help saves trees, that absorb carbon dioxide
