Wheel = Tyre嗎？

Wheel (輪子) = Tyre (輪胎) 嗎？
兩者只係相關 (有緊密關係)但係完全不同。其實, 這條題目, 用理解中文的意思就可以想得通啦!
試睇下英文字典的解釋:
Wheel (American Heritage dictionary 解釋 1)
A solid disk or a rigid circular ring connected by spokes to a hub, designed to turn around an axle passed through the center.

車輪係指直接連著車軸的環狀而可轉動之部份, 令車輛可以在地面上行走。 要留意, 佢係硬的部份。

Tyre (Kernerman English Multilingual Dictionary)
a thick, rubber, usually air-filled strip around the edge of the wheel of a car, bicycle etc

包裹在車輪外面的充氣, 橡膠部份。 通常係指汽車或單車等的車輪。

很明顯, 當我地講及嘅係運貨的木頭車, 輪子主要係木造的, 根本就沒有橡膠的部份。所以兩者點會係一樣呢?
試舉例說明:
1) The tyres of this car don't have enough air in them. (車胎無氣)
在這情況, 我地無可能用wheel 去取代。車輛的wheel係金屬組件, 而根本不是充氣的部份。
2) A bicycle has two wheels, a tricycle three and most cars four.

同樣地, 在這情, 我地唔會話: 單車一般有兩個車胎 (即 tyres), … (雖然的確係, 但這樣表達就有點怪)。

有分別
wheel 除咗 '軚' 同 '車輪' 之外, 仲可以解 '軚盤'
tyre 就解 '車軚' or '車輪'

wheel = 輪子,車輪, (汽車的)方向盤;船的(舵輪), 轉動,旋轉, 美(汽車), 美(腳踏車)
tyre = 【英】輪胎;輪箍

Tyre = 輪胎

Wheel = 車輪

Both are same

But

Tyre = 輪胎 is better
More professional
