Lately, it has been noticed that many young females have been coining strange, "English" forenames that may sound cute and Japanese. In the end, these so-called names become DQN names that make NO sense.
Such practice has been condemned by many.

Not every Japanse forename has a meaning. Some do; others don't. Some kanji forenames are coined by how it's being read (which may sound normal in Japanese, but makes no sense in Chinese).
