How to convert TRP to AVI

I have recored something from 機頂盒 by using a USB flash drive and
burned it on a DVD with file extension TRP.

I can see the DVD in my XP by using Goom Player but cannot see it on a
DVD player.

Customer service said that their DVD player can play AVI only.

Please advise how to convert TRP to AVI by steps.
