In Arizona, what is the active season for termites?

Arizona gets two monsoon seasons. One in the summer, and one in the winter. when it is wet, they are active. New infestations are much less common in the winter, but preexisting infestations will remain active during the winter months in a heated house.

Late spring early summer. I don't think they are dead,I think they run around without their wings on, and appear as ants. I really don't know that much about them being dead. Sorry,Byee
