Vaccination card is not nessary, but you can bring a photocopy.

Bring all the documents you were posted from the university regarding your course and your student accomodation. You would very possibly need to show them at the airport.

Bring about 400 British Pound Sterling Cash with you and that should be enough for about one month expense, excluding tuition fee and accommodation fee. If you were worried about bringing lots of cash, you could always open a HSBC bank account in HK. They provides service for HK student going to the UK. Try to visit HSBC website or go to one of their branches. I did it in the Central main branch myself.

Bring about 1 dozen of recent passport photos, you might not need it.
However, they are very expensive here, so you'd rather get them in HK instead.

It is not needed to bring a lot of thick clothes as there is radiator (heater) indoor almost everywhere during winter. It is rather hot indoor. However, you need a thick coat, scarf (+ hat and gloves if you wishes) that could provide you warmth outdoor. Don't bring too many clothes as you could easily get them here.

If you wore contact lens or glasses, get them in HK as well.
They are much cheaper. In the UK, you've to pay for the eye test before buying any glasses/contact lens.

Visit the dentist before coming to the UK, anything medical related to eyes and teeth are not funded by the NHS (National Health Serivce). Thus, they are comparatively more expensive.

Get a laptop with wireless LAN card, a memory USB stick (2-4GB would be enough for studying), webcam/microphone if you want to talk with your family.

Umbrella (縮骨), UK has a lot of rainny days.

HKID card, you would need it when you come back to HK at the airport.

A digital alarm clock.

A few stationery that you need for studying, e.g. pen, highlighter, pencil, rubber, correction pen/liquid/tape, ruler, stapler, calculator, etc.

Oxford Chinese-English Dictionary. Very useful for me as I like to check the dictionary a lot when I come across new vocabularies.

A lead extension (電拖把，延長電插蘇，至少一開四), as there might not be enough socket in your bedroom.

If you have sweaty feet and doesn't like 人字拖，you can prepare a pair of plastic slippers. In the UK, a large number of slippers are 人字拖 and 毛毛拖鞋.

Bring a few chinese medicine with you as they are expensive or not easy to get here, e.g. 幸福傷風素, 杞子(煲湯或沖水飲，對眼睛好),清熱氣的中成藥或沖濟(因為英國成日食到熱氣的東西)，初來英國或許會水土不服，帶一些藥油，止瀉丸等。因應你自己身體帶需要的藥。
