Why am I eating so little each day, and not even hungry! ?

This is approximately what I ate for the past 3 days:

half squeezed lemon
banana
soya milk
almonds
meatballs
cucumbers
egg

That was throughout the whole days, after I cut out all gluten/wheat/junk/dairy products (I had to cut out gluten and dairy coz im allergic) and my body feels very satisfied.

I'd be expecting to be starving right now, with only that much food eaten, but I'm not.

Why is this?


P.S I'm doing moderate exercise (walking stretching)

To kate: egg isn't dairy. the meatballs I ate were gluten free. There's absolutely no way I can eat ANYTHING with wheat in, sorry.

You're getting a lot of protein. That may be part of the reason. Another reason is likely that your body has simply gotten used to the low-caloric intake, and your brain believes it's starving, so it's producing hormones and chemicals that stimulate you and make you feel good. That's what anorexia is as well. Now, obviously you are not anorexic, but its' some of the same mechanisms. When food is tight, the body compensates by burning fat and ketones, and in the latter, also produces dopamine and endorphins.

You have to eat more. Don't cut all the "crap" foods. Those "crap" foods are what fuel your insulin and hunger.

And this diet won't make you thin or healthy, it'll either make you sickly and weak, or you'll end up flipping your bloodglucose and go on a crazy binge, with a sabotaged metabolism, and get fat.

its callled fasting (or relative fasting) when you eat so little that you metabolisam slows and your stomach shrinks so that 4 crackers will keep you full for hours. you dont loose weight doing this, unless you increas you excersize, thus burning the calories from the crackers and keeping you metabolisam at a fast pace, but you will get hungry if you do that. try eating empty or negative carbs and calories. eapty carbs are like rice crackers. they have very few cals but lots of fiber, so you are espentally full of nothing. negative cals are like celery. you burn more cewing it raw then you are acutally consuming. this way your metabolisam is up but your still consuming little. good luck and diet on!!!!

almonds keep you full because they have GOOD fatty acids in them once again i say GOOD FATTY ACIDS NOT BAD GOOD

according to Chinese Medicine , bananas and cucumbers are cold ,they'll make your body cold and they are also bring difficulty to digest the meatballs. try to eat some haws

egg is dairy and meatballs have wheat in them (breadcrumbs), but anyway, you need wheat in your diet
