How long does it take you to die if you hung yourself?

Depriving the brain of oxygen through asphyxiation can cause brain death in about 5 minutes give or take, no matter how this is accomplished, based on what I have heard on various programs here and there on TV. Why don't you do research in person? Like at the local morgue and talk to the people who investigate things like this?

different people vary. some die fast some die slow. your sister work in morgue, if she show you details, because if some patients/corpses she look after die in hanging, yes she becomes release/disclose their privacy to you.

your neck might snap yet no longer thoroughly, your vocals may well be ripped aside the vessels of blood occurring your suggestions may well be ripped out of place you will possibly hold close there for greater or less 6 minutes suffocating and then 30 seconds later your heart might cease yet you at the instant are not ineffective yet your suggestions might nonetheless stay for greater or less 12 minutes greater in a dream like state that could seem to final for days making you relive the discomfort repeatedly

For a 200 pound man, it would take 7 minutes max. Don't think adding a plastic bag to the equation would make much of a difference....
