ectotokens are made by worshipping the ectofuntus at port phsmatys.
You obtain them by following these steps:

1)Wear your ghostspeak amulet before u go there.
2)get some bones(any kind),a bucket, a pot,then:

3)go to the bottom most floor once u are there,then fill ur bucket with ectoplasm

4)go to the top floor and USE your bones with the bone grinder.
5)operate the machine.
6)collect the "bonemeal"

7)go back to the ground floor,and worship the ectofuntus with ur bucket of ectoplasm and pot of bonemeal in ur inventory

8)speak to the ghost disciple,then u get some ecto-tokens.

After the quest it can be used to get a pot of yeast for 5 ecto-tokens from a ghost in the pub (Pot must be provided). Also used to buy undead chickens from Alice's husband during Animal Magnetism.
