唔該~Book Report!!!

The title of the English book that I have read this in summer is "The Prince

and the Pauper " by Mark Twain. The main character in this book is Tom

Canty. He and his family were very poor. One day, Tom Canty went to

Westminster Palace to see a real prince, Prince Edward. However, when he got

to the gate, one of the soldiers asked him to stand back and he hit Tom Canty.

The Prince saw this, he was very angry and blamed the soldiers. Tom Canty

went with the Prince to visit the palace. After this, Tom Canty and the Prince

became good friends. Tom Canty always played with the Prince because the

Prince thought he was very bored. At the end of the story, the Prince became

a good ruler, and was crowned king. He learned how people lived and what

they lived on, so he was able to have a good understanding of his kingdom.

I like Prince Edward very much because he is very nice, handsome and

friendly, Although Tom Canty is not a rich man, the Prince does not mind

this. He does not want any unfair things to happen in his kingdom. He wants

to be a good king. Tom Canty does not become too proud or arrogant because

he was the Prince as his friend. It is very unusual that they manage to keep

their friendship, as they come from such different family backgrounds, and

their life experience is not the same.


I like the book because I have learned "Don't let something make you too

proud of yourself." in the book.If you think you can do something, you can

do it. It is only if you think you can't something that you are sure to fail.



At last, I hope eveyone can read this story.I highly recommend it to others.
