係咪之係 he is interested in the book

i saw it in dictionary (longman active study english-chinese dictionary ( second edition) ) the dictionay said (concern yourself with something ) is to take an interest in something but i didn't know whether it was true so i ask you guy

應該是, he give attention to the book. 就是關注那本書的意思

They are not the same.

If you say he concerns himself with the book, what you mean is he relates himself to the book itself, or he involves himself in the book. (關係, 涉及)

However, if you say he is interested in the book, what you mean is he feels curious about the book. (興趣
