(x/10)^ -1
1/(x/10)
10/x
Raising a nonzero number to the â1 power is its reciprocal.
(x/10)^-1 = 1/(x/10)^1 = 1/(x/10) = 10/x
x^(-1) / 10^(-1) = 10 / x
10/x
The ^ -1 inverts the equation from x/10 to 10/x
= (10/x)
when you have a number and ^-1 you just turn the number upside down
(x/10)^-1
= 1/(x/10)
= 1(10/x)
= 10/x
