Problem in reading Chinese characters

Cannot read text of incoming email or attachments sometimes if it is in simplified Chinese characters. Only some funny Chinese like characters show. Is there any free download software available that could help? If not, anything that could help me out at a cost?

嘗試在檢視 > 編碼內選big5, unicode, gb2312, japanese (auto-select)呢幾個最常用的編碼，如果只能部份顯示正確或未能解決問題，即該email在傳送時已出現問題，不能正確顯示有關內容！

Some mail programs do not handle unicode or Asian characters (such as Eudora).
If you have a problem with Yahoo mail, then most probably it is the setting of the computer.
If you work perfectly with Yahoo mail (in Chinese characters), then look for an alternative mail program.
