HELP I CANT SLEEP!?

its 3:09 in the morning and um yea..
cant sleep i usually stay up till 6 in the morning but i sleep till 4 in the afternoon. so any ideas
and dont say warm milk thats sick

haha... dont take drugs it wont fix your long term problem..... try exercising it helps release muscle tension that could be causing sleeplessness... carlm down before you go to bed dim lighting and quiet.... no computer or tv or loud music on an iPod.. ect ( these will stimulate your brain thus making it not relaxed so your body is tired but not your mind and it takes a while to wind not.. and lastly.. de stress... long around and read a book or somthing and relax..... an hour before you go to sleep , do more sports.make yourself tired,then you'll go to sleep soon.

You have spoilt your sleeping habit. See that you
do not go to sleep as late as 4 pm. At least for one
day you got to take some trouble and keep yourself
awake during the day. and go to bed at night early'.
Do all your work yourself. when you get tired bodily
your body need rest and also mind and you will get
sleep automatically. Do not take sleeping pills or any
medication. This will form a bad habit and you will have
to increase the dose gradaully for sleep besides drugs
have side effects.

your body has its normal way of controlling the time you sleep and wake up and it usually sticks to it. i have read that it would sometimes take 2 weeks for your body to adapt to a change in your sleep patterns...and... maybe this is the reason why you can't sleep since you usually sleep till 6 AM and considering that time is not that very normal for your body to have its sleeping moments and therefore your body must be making a LOT of effort to keep you up till your usual 6 AM sleep.

To aid yourself... try not using the computer or doing any activities that will keep your brain actively stimulated before you sleep. Try reading a book (maybe the boring or least interesting ones...hehe... i sleep on my books when i study for an exam..) or looking at photographs probably. this will help prepare your brain for sleep.

reading, watching tv, for me i just do alot of housework like cleaning and washing dishes etc. but then again i have insomnia so i had to take sleeping pills thats oly if your case is extreme if not dont bother altho not addictve u usually depend on them and u wont be able to find a better way to sleep without medicating yourself :) good luck its 6:20 am where i am and lol i havent slept either since yesterday afternoon try settin an alarm clock when u finally fall asleep and wake up at a decent time so that u wont be up all night sometimes that helps to get a normal routine
