雖然我嘅中文唔算勁, 但身為中國人, 對文字上所含的意義亦當能分辨!
成王敗寇, 係兩個極端, 一般是指起義打朝廷, 成功咗咪推翻前朝作為勝利者(稱王), 若然係失敗, 只會被朝廷或歷史上冠名稱作"流寇"或"土匪", 所以我嘅譯文 "成王敗寇" 是Your name in history will be a conqueror (勝利者) if you win but your name will be a bandit (強盜,土匪)if you lose.

至於"成王敗寇" 被譯作 "If you win you are the king, if you lose you are nothing", 未能譯出勝利者與流寇之成敗對比, 充其量只能譯出"勝者為王", if you lose you are nothing 並沒有帶出敗者為"寇", 需知 "nothing" 不等於流寇, 頂多能譯作藉藉無名!
