Velocity of the belt, vb = 2.5 ms-1
Assuming they have the same direction of motion,
Velocity of the belt relative to the staple gun
= vb - va
= 2.5 - 1.0
= 1.5 ms-1
So, the distance between two staples
= 1.5 / 10
= 0.15 m
