數學一題(請幫忙)

x^2 + 6x - 1 = (x+p)^2 + q

x^2 + 6x - 1 = x^2 + 2px + p^2 + q

so, 2p = 6
p = 3

and -1 = p^2 + q = 3^2 + q = 9 + q

q = -1 -9 = -10


the "3 lines" equal sign cannot be shown in HTML code, i.e. u have to use a diagram to represent it; or u may use symbol in MS word...
