Can someone help me think of some topic about tourism for my research paper?

That is an easy question but quite difficult to answer...

If you are really thinking of that topic... why not show the effects of media in tourism. Maybe you start of with how the government is using the media to advance its interest in tourism (e.g. adverstising), then you can go into the costs the government is incurring as compared to maybe neighboring countries. After this, you can also consider talking about the media and how it affects the tourism badly such as crimes, travel advisory, etc... To spice this up, you can even input foreigners' points of view of your tourist attraction. Then, maybe you can also provide other aspects of media in tourism like how to effectively use media in showing the positive side of your tourist attraction...
