can you explain how you do it?

3/5 * 80 is also 3/5 * 80/1.
So multiply the top (numerators) across, you get 3*80 = 240
Do the same for the bottom (denominators), you get 5*1 = 5
You will get 240/5= 48

(3/5) x 80
