school about aviation

I want to study to be a pilot. I have already got a bachelor (not related to aviation). So it would take quite a long time (4 years) if I started studying for another bachelor degree in civil aviation. Is there any way to study for flying through a short time? Any recommended school for studying flying?

Can I work as air trafic controller once I got pilot license?
