Please help me solve this problem.

Kimmy has deposited ten years ' red pocket money into a bank acount . The

simple interest rate is 3 % p . a . If the amount will be $ 19260 three years

later , find how much red pocket money she has deposited .

y+y(3)(3%)=19260
1.09y=17670
y=17670
The red pocket money she has deposited is $17670
