Are you kidding?
Are you joking?

Yes, your son is right because monkey is used as a verb. For example: Stop fooling around. Your son is great.
I will make the correction.

Thanks for the correction from Sour Apple's 9-year old son.

I do have another typo. Monkey is used as a verb.

So it should be "Stop monkeying around".

By the way, I am trying to provide different English usage under the different situation that you may say "你有沒有搞錯ㄚ你?".

"Yeah. Right." can be used as a sarcastic tone; however, it does not mean 最好是這樣啦. It means: 噢!是噢!

2008-08-28 23:29:04 補充:
For example:

"I was born and brought up in India..."
"Oh really? I was under this impression that you were Dutch."
"Yeah, right! I wouldn't have always insisted on paying the bill then."

Another example:
Is selecting a jury scientific? Yeah, right

There is also a website that talks about the different situations that you would use the phrase "Yeah, right."

Basically, when you used it in a sarcastic tone, it means that you do not agree with that person's point of view.

Mary said: " My dog is the smartest dog in the world". John responded: " Yeah. Right!". Meaning that John did not think it that way.

How about {stop doing monkey business} ?
I thought No. 10 would be Yeah. . . . right (with negative tone)
perhaps

Those answers are excellent!!!

However, my son insisted that No.2 [Stop monkey around.] should be [Stop monkeying around.]

Is that true? My son is only 9 years old, I am not very sure about what he said.
