Acidified potassium dichromate solution 同 sodium sulphite solution 既reaction :
我唔明 potassium dichromate 既reduction half equation 點解要係
Cr2O7 (2-) + 14H+ + 6e ---> 2Cr3+ + 7H2O, 而唔係
K(2+) + 2e- ---> K, 明明兩隻都係oxidizing agent~

仲有, dilute zinc nitrate electrolyzed, electrodes 係platinum(cathode), 同zinc(anode). 我明點解cathode果度出hydrogen, 但我唔明nitrate, 同樣係oxidizing agent, 佢點解會去anode 果邊?

更新1:

但係anode 係吸electron 果邊, nitrate 既目標都係吸electron而變成NO2, 點會去果邊?

因為Acidified potassium dichromate solution 是一個非常強的氧化劑,而K+則是一個非常弱的氧化劑,所以是Cr2O7 (2-) 氧化,而不是K+

是負離子(anion)去anode果邊,不是 oxidizing agent

仲有,是nitric acid先會還原為NO2,只有nitrate ion時不會

Cr2O7 2- is a stronger oxidizing agent than K+
K (strong R.A.) → K+ (weak O.A.)

in electrolysis, anode is the positive pole
it will attract anion (NO3- & OH-)
