That falls under the difference of cubes

a3 – b3 = (a – b)(a2 + ab + b2)
x^6 - y^9 = (a^2 – b^3)(a^4 + a^2b^3 + b^6)

It's called: A difference of cubes

x^6 - y^9= (x^2 - y^3)(x^4 + x^2y^3 + y^6)

Difference of 2 cubes.

x^6 = (x²)³, and y^9 = (y³)³

(x²-y³)(x^4 + x²y³ + y^6)
