. Solve for x:1+3x=-2x-9?
回答 (10)
✔ 最佳答案
1 + 3x = -2x - 9
5x = -10
x = -2
replace the equation to make it equivalent to 0 so then it will be 2x sq. + 3x+7-9=0 then sparkling up from there with the quadratic formulation assuming you be conscious of a thank you to do it because of the fact you merely didnt be conscious of a thank you to sparkling up it because of the 9.
1 + 3x = -2x - 9
2x + 3x = -1 - 9
5x = -10
x = -10/5
x = -2
1+3x=-2x-9
--2x(+2x) --2x(+2x)
Two negatives equal a positive.
1+5x=-9
+1 +1
5x= -10
x= -2
1 + 3x = -2x - 9
Add 2x to both sides (cause the 2x on the right is neg)
1+5x=-9
Take away one from both sides (because the one on the right is pos and we are trying to isolate x)
5x = -10
Divide by sides by 5 (as divide is the opposite to multiply- what we were doing initaly to x)
x = -2
ANSWER ^^
1+3x=-2x-9
3x=-2x-10 Move +1. (Change sign, subtract from -9)
5x=-10 Move-2x(Change sign, add to 3x)
x=-2 Divide -10 by 5 to find x
1 + 3x = -2x - 9
5x = -10
x = -2
