This is only my personal opinion (so don't answer like this in the exam!)
I have just put on Concerto No.3 1st mov. - it's very different to any of Handel's music, in a sense that this mov. sounds a lot more ridge. Listen to how the beats come in, very 'dead-on'. It's a very German Baroque style, timing is strict, the melody comes around and around in different tones and keys but the basic structure is still largely unchanged. It gets to a climax that isn't 'over-the-top', very tamed.
You could be forgiven for mistaking The Brandenburg No.5 as Handel because it does sound lighter than most of Bach's music. However, the timing is still very strict - the melody comes around and around. Not too much fancy things.
Now listen t Handel's Water Music and Royal Fireworks - the melodies varies a lot more and so does the tempo. Most importantly, the melodies are much lighter than Bach's, especially listen or the 1st violin sections - the bow is lighter on the strings. Good example would be 'The Arrival of th Queen of Sheba'. The climax os Handel's music is less tamed than Bach's. There are also a lot more ornaments used in Handel's music.
One VERY important difference between Bach and Handel - Bach wrote music for the church; Handel wrote for the English court! So Bach's mucic sounds more solemn than Handel's. Handel also travelled alot more than Bach and was influenced by different styles includng Italian. Bach stayed in Germany for most of his life.
Hope that's answered your question.
