The opening ceremony was in my eyes amazing. The Bird's Nest stadium was wonderful. The performance was breath-taking. The fireworks were amazing all over Beijing. I was most impressed with the Olympics rings made of dust.

The Bird's Nest's design was WONDERFUL! And the perfomance - GREAT! Fireworks - BRILLIANT! I liked everything! I just can't help feeling jealous of those lucky Chinese.

Personally, I think Olympic opening ceremonies are always too extravagant but comparatively it was pretty good. 80 or so out of 100.

Because it is now known have been faked on television, especially the fireworks to which you referred, it is most appropriate for the Olympics. Give it a full mark of 100, for helping some of the gullible to wise up.
