Sorry, i have had a bit of a brain fart and you are all going to think I am a total idiot. Anyway, how do you expand and simplify:

14u2 2u(3u 5)

(by the way the '2' which is the fourth digit in the question is a two meaning squared/)
更新1:

oops there should also be a + sign before the 2u

更新2:

and a + sign before the 5

更新3:

HOW DID YOU GET TO THAT ANSWER THOUGH??? My brain has like totally shut down

更新4:

✔ 最佳答案
14 u ² + 2 u ( 3 u + 5 )
14 u ² + 6 u ² + 10 u
20 u ² + 10 u

14u^2 + 2u(3u + 5) =

14u^2 + 6u^2 + 10u =

20u^2 + 10u OR 10u(2u + 1)

just multiply each of the elements in the first parens with each element in the second parens

(14u2+2u)(3u+5)

42u^3 + 70u^2 + 6u^2 + 10u combine like terms
42u^3 +76u^2 + 10u Y can factor out 2
2u(21u^2 + 38u + 5)
2u(7u+1)(3u +5)

14u² + 6u² + 10u

= 20u² + 10u

Alright. For the first one, multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 5/9 (9/5) to isolate the variable. And the second one, the consecutive intergers would be so that x = 1st variable x+1 = 2nd variable x+2 = 3rd variable and x+3 = 4th variable. The equation would be x+2+x+3 = 3x+91 Then just solve
2008-08-10 10:32 am
14u^2 + 2u(3u + 5)
= 14u^2 + 2u*3u + 2u*5
= 14u^2 + 6u^2 + 10u
= 20u^2 + 10u
= 10(2u^2 + u)
= 10u(2u + 1)
