motive: a group of notes that is rather short but with a specfic pattern, appears regularly in the extract of music. It may appear in the form of sequence, imitation or extention etc.
squence: a group of notes that have transposed higher or lower, but have the same rhythm and interval of notes.
imitation: a group of notes that have transposed higher or lower, have the same rhytnm but have slight difference in the intervals of notes.
