a. Volume of cylinder: V = πrrhr = radius = 1/2 diameter = 2.5cm
h = height = 10
V = π(2.5)(2.5)(10) = 62.5π cubic cm
b. Curved surface area = cylinder circumference x height
cylinder circumference = 2πr = 2π(2.5) = 5π cm
height = 10cm
Curved surface area = 5π(10) = 50π square cm
