First you need to have a "cat scan" and then find the best physiotherapist and the therapy should able to help you, it probably take more than 6 months and they will teach the proper exercises.
I know the pain, can't sit, can't walk for long, can't even wear the socks, it is so painful, really want to die. But I did go to the therapy for almost 8 months, it helps a lot and really improve, almost back to normal live. Take care and good luck.
