1. The sumof two number is 56 and the difference is 22. Find large number.

2. In a certain class, threre are 8 moreboys than girls. If there are altogether 44 students in the class, find the number of girls.

4. Adding 28 to 3 times of a number is equal to 12 added to 5 times the number. Find the number.

n 22 n=56
2n 22=56
2n=34
n=17
The smaller number is 17, and the larger number is 17 22=39.
