I attempt to sharing my experiences to help you.

My english was very poor in my fourth form,but I have a great improvement these year- at least I can express my ideas and write correct english sentences.That's because I know how to learn english efficiently.
As all we know,english comprises of 4 parts - reading,writing,listening and oral.

First,reading is the easiest part to handle as english words are widely used in HK.Therefore, you can try to read news , borrow some english books from libraries,notice english words around you when you are outdoor and so on.When you don't understand some words,it's appropriate for you to consult a dictionary and then jot them down.Afterwards,you need to revises those words until you can remember those words without a look to those words.

Moreover,reading is highly related to writing and hence you can improve your writing through reading and vice versa. Write your xanga or diary in english every few days,if not every day is the common and effective methods .When you don't know how to translate your idea, you can jot it down and go back to school to ask your english teachers.They have obligation to answer you.In my view,this part is more useful and efficient than the previous one.You can learn new words more easily by writing them once.

Then, the part of listening counts on watching english movies and english news in Pearl channel or through the internet. When you can't catch the meaning, you should look at the captions and get used to those speeds and then not to see the captions.It's main to follow it step-by-step.

Lastly,the practice of oral is hard for HongKonger and so I advise you to speak english to your friends or other targets. If not, you should cherish your chance to practice oral in class.

For the last remind,endurance and courage are two main elements for you to follow the instructions and keep it up and ensuing success in enhancing english.

但係我就鼓勵唔用麗音只係聽英文
初初起聽唔明可以一路睇字幕一路聽
當自己既基礎已經打好既時候
就可以試下只係聽唔睇字幕

睇極都睇唔明,覺得好悶
但係,,你可以搵一D廣大人民都認為好睇既書
例如,,HARRY POTTER,,魔界,,穿prada的惡魔等等
都係一D趣味性較高既書
