Who cares about Tibet, really? Ever though about all of the countries in poverty, under the control of another country? The only reason people say free Tibet is becuase they want to jump on the cultural band wagon and look like in it for such a good cause. The fact of the matter is, people hate China and want to free Tibet, because everyone else hates China, and wants to free Tibet.

I think it's high time we stop over-stepping our boundaries and imposing our morals and values on the rest of the world, and let the world run it as is. There's a reason America is so hated.

Yes, after all that China has been through, China really deserves the olympics!

Only in giving the best luck in throwing an excellent Olympics. Meaning excellent weather, fair competetion, and as little political interference as possible. That includes protesters, political showboating or ones upmanship by any country. This is a time and place to enjoy the world coming together and playing and competing with each other and enjoying each other's cultures and company. I hate when people try to politicize the games for whatever reason it spoils the experience for everyone.
