哩D唔係叫TENSES,哩D係to-infinitives/ gerund

1.Please stop him _________(do)that .
ans. : Please stop him __to do_that .
意思係請停止佢去咁做。

2.Do you mind_____(lend)me your pencil?
ans. :Do you mind to lend me your pencil?
意思:你介唔介意去借你枝鉛筆俾我?

3.Jane is afraid of___(see)cockroaches.
ans.:Jane is afraid of seeing cockroaches.
意思:Jane 係 驚 睇 見 d 蟑螂

4.She is fond of______(dance).
ans. : She is fond of__dance___.
意思:她鍾愛跳舞。

5.________(Swim)is good to health.
ans: Swimming is good to health.
意思:游泳是對身体好的。

6.She thanked him for_______(find)her purse.
ans.:She thanked him for__finding_____(find)her purse.
意思:她為他找尋她的錢包而提出謝意。

7.He left Hong Kong without_______(tell)me.
ans.:He left Hong Kong without__telling_____(tell)me.
意思:他離開香港而沒有向我提及。

8.I dislike_______(eat)ice cream.
ans.:I dislike__to eat / eating_____(eat)ice cream.
*like/dislike 可跟 to / gerund
意思:我不喜歡食雪糕。

9.Do you like_______(hike)?
ans.: Do you like_hiking______(hike)?
係哩個情況hiking 係指爬山哩個運動 係一個名詞而唔係動詞所以一定係 -ing。
意思: 你鍾唔鍾意爬山?

其實我諗你老師係想你分清ing-form幾時係verb幾時係noun
例如#4 #5 #9就係verb
另外"do you mind [#2]" "afaid of [#3]" 等詞之後既verbs一定係ing-form架! :]
