If you were trying disappoint me!是有問題的！因為你這句說話中有兩個動詞！
所以你應該改成這樣子：
''If you were trying to disappoint me!''
意思即是 ''If you were trying to deceive me？''了。
此外，我們不可以在一句句子中，有兩個動詞同時在一起！
如果要的話，我們就應該加上這些接詞：
that 、so、to 、which、whever等……

這句英文應該是：If you were trying to disappoint me？意即 If you were
trying to deceive me？了。
你知道 If you were 的用法，而忘卻 trying 要有 to，真是很難解釋清楚呢！
