---------
(³√-64)²
1
------
(-4)²
1/16
(-64)^(-2/3)
= ³â(-64^-2)
= ³â(1/-64^2)
= ³â(1/4096)
= ³â(1/16 * 1/16 * 1/16)
= 1/16
(-64)^(-2/3)
make positive power
(1/64)(2/3)
(1/4)^3*(2/3)
(1/4)^2
1/16
thanx
{ - 64 }^-2/3 =[{-4}^3]^-2/3 ={ -4}^-2= 1/-4^2=1/16=1/(4)^2
(-64)^(-2/3)
cube root -64 which is -4
(-4)^(-2)
square -4 which is 16
16^(-1)
raising to a negative power puts it in the denominator of the fraction
1/16
You can do all of this in one step but I broke it up this way so you can see what is happening.
