Hello! How are you? Let me introduce myself first. My name is (Your name), a (boy/girl) aged (Your age) and I am also a Secondary (Your grade) student of (Your school name). I know you are an American. And I am writing to you as I have always wanted to have a pen pal in America.
Now let me tell you something about my family. My mother is a hard-working and responsible housewife. She takes care of me and my brother. As for my father, he is a manager of a company. My brother is a Primary Six student, with medium height. He is clever, yet a bit childish. We both share the same hobby—collecting stamps. It is a meaningful activity and we have been doing so for about three years. In fact, collecting stamps require a lot of time and patience. But when I look at the album which is full of stamps, I always feel proud of myself.
Apart from collecting stamps, I also like playing a great variety of sports. I enjoy swimming, and I can swim quite fast. I am also fond of playing basketball, yet I am not good at that indeed. Recently, I took up playing badminton and I am picking it up very fast. Another thing I like is reading books. As you know, reading books enrich our vocabulary and broaden our horizon. I like reading detective books, especially the one called ‘Sherlock Holmes’. Moreover, I like travelling abroad. I have already been to Japan, England and many other countries. Also, I am a devotee of theatre. I like watching movies.
