over 90%, u haven't install the sound card driver ...

normally, sound card is onboard device, that's mean ur mainboard include sound card function,

so , ur sound card driver setup program must store in same cd as mainboard cd.

behind the computer case, u can find 3 or more audio socket with diff. color..
the green one is for speaker.
