you can do price check and comparison very quickly online rather then calling,
you get all kind of info about the hotel online, eg. room size, facilities,...
you get their promotion price for online booking,
it's usually cheaper then phone-in or show up at the hotel...,
you get to see the reviews for the hotel from the previous travellers.

There's many advantages about online booking....
I book all my hotels online,
Once you try, you will never use anything again.
