-9/2x ≥ -7/4

Can you solve basic linear algebraic equations?

Anyway, for your question, you'll need to divide both sides by -9/2 because the -9/2 is multiplied by x and the opposite of multiply is divide. This will allow you to get x by itself. Also, when dividing or multiplying by a negative number, swap the signs around (inquality rule) so you get:

(-9/2x / -9/2) ≥ (-7/4 / -9/2)

The -9/2 on the left cancel out:

x ≥ (-7/4 / -9/2)

Remember that dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying it by its reciprocal (upside-down):

x ≥ (-7/4 * 2/-9)

x ≥ -14/36

Don't forget to switch the signs around so your answer is:

x ≤ 7/18

- 9/2x >= - 7/4
x >= - 7/4(- 2/9)
x >= 7/18

Answer: x >= 7/18

All u could do is basically divide each fringe of the equation with the help of the decision it really is on an similar part because the variable that could be the three. So divide each part with the help of three. 3/3 is 0 so basically bypass that out and m=9/3 it really is 3. So the answer will be m > 3. i'm hoping i might want to help

The first thing you must learn is to use brackets.

Is it (- 9/2 ) x or is it (- 9) / (2x) ????????

Will GUESS (but should not have to guess ) :-
(- 9/2) x ≥ - 7/4
(9/2) x ≤ 7/4
x ≤ 7/18

-9/2(x) ≥ -7/4
x ≤ (-7/4)/(-9/2)
x ≤ (7/4)(2/9)
x ≤ 14/36
x ≤ 7/18

-9/2x>=-7/4

-2/9(-9/2)x>=-7/4* -2/9

x<=14/36 reduced to 7/18
